The issue of illegal immigrants has been in the news during Delhi Assembly Elections. BJP is quite vocal on this issue. BJP leader Smriti Irani addressed a press conference at the party headquarters on Sunday and accused the Aam Aadmi Party of helping illegal Bangladeshis to settle in Delhi through fake Aadhaar cards and documents. Actually, Delhi Police had arrested some Bangladeshi citizens and fake Aadhaar cards were recovered from them. The documents found from them contain the seals and letters of AAP MLAs.
BJP leader Smriti Irani lashed out at Aam Aadmi Party on Sunday. In the press conference, he said that fake Aadhaar cards were made at a shop in Sector 5, Rohini, Delhi. He said that Aadhaar cards were prepared in the shop for illegal Bangladeshis.
Accusations against AAP MLAs
He said that after the investigation, the dreadful face of the Aam Aadmi Party MLA has come to light. 26 updated Aadhaar forms have been found with the seal and letter of Aam Aadmi Party MLAs. Letters and seals of Rithala MLA Mohinder Goyal and Bawana MLA Jai Bhagwan have been found.
He said that Delhi Police has issued a notice for questioning the Aam Aadmi Party MLA and staff member. However, no one went before the police. Also said that accused Ranjeet used to make fake birth certificates with the help of his partner Afroz.
AAP leaders are silent: Smriti Irani
Smriti Irani said that such a big matter related to national security has been exposed in the country, but the leaders of Aam Aadmi Party are sitting silent. He said, “Such leaders have maintained silence on the issue of national security. Who are those infiltrators who want to harm the democratic structure of the country by coming to the country’s capital by making fake voter cards through fake identification cards? Our Democracy Why is it that the leadership of Aam Aadmi Party had resolved that He will neither insult the nation nor betray the nation on any issue of national security, why are he sitting silent till now?”
He said, “Ever since this conspiracy of the Aam Aadmi Party to take over the democratic rights of Delhi has been exposed before the country, the country and especially the citizens of Delhi now demand answers as to why the Aam Aadmi Party is taking over the common citizens of Delhi.” She is standing with the Bangladeshi infiltrators, not with them.”
What did the MLA say in the fake Aadhaar card case?
Earlier, Delhi Police had sent a notice to AAP MLA Mahendra Goyal and his office staff in connection with the investigation into the case of fake Aadhaar card documents. In this case, the police had arrested some Bangladeshi citizens and fake Aadhaar cards were recovered from them. On this, AAP MLA Mahendra Goyal said that he neither does anything wrong nor allows anyone to do it.
He said, “All this is useless talk. Mahendra Goyal neither does anything wrong nor allows anyone to do it. This is only a part of electoral politics. The election campaign of Aam Aadmi Party has started in Delhi and all People are busy in their own activities. It should be understood how important it is to raise such issues. It is not right to blame every person and MLA instead of campaigning.
