Aman Arora becomes the new president of Aam Aadmi Party Punjab.

Aam Admi Party Punjab has got a new President (Aam Admi Party Punjab President). Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann has announced the name of the President on social media. Aman Arora has been made the Aam Aadmi Party Punjab President. Whereas MLA Sher Singh Kalsi has been made the vice president of the party. CM Mann said that I have handed over these responsibilities to two of my close colleagues. He expressed confidence that both the partners will further strengthen the party and organization in Punjab in the coming times and will take it to new heights.

Bhagwant Mann bet on this Hindu face
Bhagwant Mann had recently expressed his desire to leave the post of president during the by-elections. Since then, speculations were being made that the party may hand over this responsibility to a new face. Now the party has bet on a Hindu face in the form of Aman Arora. It was believed that due to the fear of Hindu votes slipping into BJP’s fold, AAP might bet on a Hindu face, the same thing happened.
Who is Aman Arora?
Aman Arora is the Aam Aadmi Party MLA from Sunam, Punjab and is also a cabinet minister in the Punjab government. He is the son of two-time MLA Bhagwan Das Arora. He had achieved a record victory in the Punjab Assembly elections for the first time in the year 2017. He is also the co-president of the Punjab state unit. Aman contested Sunam twice on Congress ticket in 2007 and 2012. He joined Aam Aadmi Party in January 2016.
