Admission Alert 2024: The Department of Electrical Engineering of IIT Delhi is offering the opportunity for admission in the certificate program of Generative AI. This certificate program of IIT Delhi is among the most demanded programs today. The curriculum of this six-month long program focuses on advanced AI techniques, including Large Language Models (LLM) like GPT, BERT and T5. Participants taking the course will also explore emerging domains such as Vision-Language Models (VLM), reinforcement learning with human feedback, and ethical AI practices.
This program is designed for working professionals
This certificate program includes six specialized modules along with mathematical foundations, including Machine Learning (ML), Natural Language Processing (NLP), Generative AI for text and vision, and Responsible AI. In this course, participants will get a chance to get practical experience using tools like Python, Numpy, Pandas, PyTorch and Tensor Flow. Designed for working professionals, the program will provide live online interactive sessions in direct-to-device (D2D) format.

Qualification required for admission
For admission to this certificate program in Generative AI, it is necessary to be a graduate or post graduate in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematical Science. Participants having prior experience or knowledge of coding or programming will be given preference during admission. Classes will be held every Sunday from 9 am to 12 noon. Those participants who score at least 50 percent marks and maintain minimum 70 percent attendance will be awarded a completion certificate. Candidates who score less than 40 percent marks in aggregate and minimum attendance is 60 percent will receive Participation Certificate.

Know about the application process and course fees
The sessions include industry relevant case studies, projects and assignments to ensure practical understanding of Generative AI. Additionally, participants will get a one-day campus immersion experience at IIT Delhi, which will provide an exclusive opportunity for personal interaction and learning. Candidates desirous of admission can apply with a fee of Rs 1,180 till February 11, 2025. The classes will start from February 15 and the total course fee is Rs 1.69 lakh plus taxes.
