Know some healthy tips for care after miscarriage (care after miscarriage)
1. If miscarriage has occurred in the 1st trimester, then take rest for a week.
If you have suffered a miscarriage in the 1st trimester, you need to take rest for at least a week. It is important to always stay at home to control bleeding.
2. If miscarriage has occurred between 6 to 8 weeks, then take bed rest.
If abortion has occurred at 6 weeks, then take complete bed rest for one and a half months. For quick recovery, consume iron-rich foods. It is also advisable to take multi vitamins.
3. Avoid doing housework
After a miscarriage, lifting things or doing heavy household work can cause discomfort. Therefore, avoid doing household work as much as possible.
4. Abstain from intercourse
The uterus becomes very sensitive after abortion, so it is advisable to completely abstain from sexual intercourse until the bleeding stops. It is most important to avoid intercourse after abortion.
5. Pelvic Rest
Your doctor may advise you to wait 4 to 6 weeks, or avoid having sex, using tampons, or douching until your bleeding stops.
6. Check body temperature
Measure your temperature in the evening for the first 5 days. If your temperature rises above 100.4°F, contact your doctor. Fever can be a sign of infection in the body.
7. Maintain proper hygiene
To prevent infection, bathe at least once a day during the first week. Bleeding may continue for 3 to 6 weeks after the abortion, so use pads, not tampons. After the first week, bleeding becomes lighter. It is important to change your pads periodically and keep the area clean.
After using the bathroom, clean your intimate area with lukewarm water. To prevent infection, always wipe from front to back, and dry thoroughly.
8. Express your feelings openly
Women often become emotionally disturbed after miscarriage, in such a situation, learn to express your feelings to reduce the trouble. Be around people with whom you can talk openly. Apart from this, participate in those things which make you happy. But rest is very important, so do not do anything that may harm the body.
