However, Ramesh Bidhuri had earlier refused to apologize and had said that if Lalu Yadav would apologise, I would also apologise. He had said that Lalu’s statement was not an insult to Hema Malini. He said that Lalu Yadav has been a minister in the Congress government.

Have been in controversies before also
This is not the first time that Ramesh Bidhuri has given a controversial statement. Bidhuri has given such statements earlier also. Earlier on September 21, 2023, the then BJP MP Ramesh Bidhuri had used objectionable words for the then BSP member Danish Ali while discussing the success of Chandrayaan-3 and India’s achievements in the space sector. However, after this, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla removed Bidhuri’s words from the proceedings of the House. Later Bidhuri had apologized.
