New Delhi:
After taking oath as the 47th President of America, Donald Trump has taken many major decisions one after the other and has also reversed many of Joe Biden’s decisions. Meanwhile, Donald Trump made a big announcement and said that now there will be only two genders in America – male and female. Third gender has been abolished in America. Donald Trump said that according to the official policy from today onwards there are only two genders – male and female.
Trump’s announcement
Soon after taking the oath of office, Donald Trump announced that he would soon sign an executive order eliminating gender diversity. It has been announced that the US federal government will recognize only two genders – men and women.
Donald Trump said in his speech, ‘I am going to sign an executive order to stop all government censorship and bring back freedom of expression in America. From today onwards the official policy of the United States will have only two genders – male and female.
Third gender will not get help in health care
One of Trump’s first executive orders focused on gender-related policies, declaring that the federal government will only recognize two genders: male and female. The order mandates the use of the word “gender” in all government communications, including official documents such as passports and visas. According to the official explanation, the move is aimed at protecting women’s rights from the alleged encroachment of gender ideology.
The order also prevents taxpayers’ money from being used for gender-change healthcare. The condemnation also aligns with rhetoric made by Trump, where he has called for rolling back protections for transgender and nonbinary people and presented it as part of his larger political platform.
Ending diversity, equity and inclusion programs
The second executive order concerns diversity programs in federal agencies. Donald Trump’s order seeks to end what he refers to as “radical and wasteful” DEI initiatives. Trump’s administration has consistently criticized these programs, claiming they discriminate against Americans by promoting policies based on race, gender, and identity. The order calls for an end to preferential treatment in federal hiring and government-funded DEI programs.
Gender diversity and civil rights will be affected
Trump’s executive orders have reignited the discussion over the balance between gender diversity and civil rights protections. Critics say the President’s actions could set back progress in LGBTQ+ rights. However, supporters argue that these measures are necessary to preserve traditional definitions of gender and protect individuals from policies they deem overly inclusive. Or considered discriminatory.
