Agniveer Bharti: In seven days, 7023 candidates showed their strength and 867 candidates passed, now merit list will be made.

Indian Army’s Agniveer recruitment physical examination was conducted in Sagar, in which 7023 candidates from 10 districts appeared. Of these, 867 candidates were found medically fit, while 524 will be re-tested. 70 drug tests came negative. 97 candidates were caught in document forgery. Merit list will be released in March.

Naiduniya Representative, Gwalior. The ongoing physical examination in Sagar to become Agniveer in the Indian Army was completed on Sunday. In this, 7023 candidates from 10 districts including Gwalior of the state showed their strength on the field. Out of these, only 867 candidates have passed so far, who were also found fit in the medical examination.

Re-medical examination of 524 candidates will be held in the Military Hospital. After this the merit list will be made. The merit list may be released by the first week of March.

Out of 8914 candidates, 1873 passed

8914 candidates from Gwalior, Shivpuri, Datia, Bhind, Morena, Sheopur, Tikamgarh, Sagar, Damoh, Niwari, Chhatarpur were to appear in the physical examination. Admit cards were issued to 8914 candidates. Out of these, only 7023 candidates appeared in the physical examination, the remaining candidates remained absent.

Out of 7023 candidates, 2111 candidates passed the physical examination and were sent for medical examination. In this, 1873 candidates were sent for examination before the Medical Board. Out of these, 97 candidates were left out in the document test.

1893 candidates for medical

1893 candidates were called for medical, out of which only 1775 candidates appeared before the board. Till Sunday evening, 867 of these candidates were found fit and now they will have to go to the Army Recruitment Office in Murar, Gwalior for document verification on different dates.

There will be re-medical examination of 524 candidates. Their testing will be done at Military Hospital Murar. The testing of 867 candidates will start in the last week of January. This will last for about a month.

Drug test of 70 candidates was done, not a single positive was found.

Out of 7023 candidates, there were 70 candidates whom the Army officials suspected to have participated in the race after taking drugs. Their drug test was done, but not a single drug test came positive, which means all these candidates had participated in the race without drugs.

Forgery in documents of 97 candidates The documents were scrutinized by the Army after preliminary medical examination. In this, 97 candidates were found who had forged the documents. Some had tampered with the date of birth and some with the address.
