Air India apologizes on Shivraj’s complaint, instructions to the airlines of the ministry; Instructions given to DGCA

Air India apologizes

Shivraj Singh Chauhan has shared the experience of the aircraft journey through a post on ‘X’, after which Air India has apologized for ‘inconvenience’ and ordered an ‘intense’ inquiry into the incident. Expressing ‘regret’ for the inconvenience to the Union Minister, an Air India spokesperson said in a statement, “We are investigating the matter intensively to ensure that such incidents do not happen again.” Also, Air India has apologized on ‘X’.

What is the whole matter?

Union Minister and former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Shivraj Singh Chauhan was going from Bhopal to Delhi by Air India flight for a program. When he reached inside the flight, he got to sit a broken and sunk seat. Due to this, he had to face trouble. Chauhan immediately called the staff and asked why the allotted when the seat was broken. At the same time, he has also expressed his displeasure through ex -post.

Air India staff present in the flight told Chauhan that he has already informed the management about this broken seat. There are many more seats in the plane, which are broken and useless. He had told the management that the ticket of these seats should not be sold. Shivraj listened to the staff reply but he did not have the option of the second seat. However, other passengers also offered him their seat and urged him a lot. However, he did not like to hurt others and he completed this whole journey by sitting on the same broken seat.

Union Minister expressed displeasure

The Union Minister says that when a passenger is paying full payment to the aviation company, should he not get good facilities. He felt that Air India’s service would have improved after the Tata management came into the hands, but it was his illusion. He said that he is not worried about the pain in sitting. But after recovering all the money from the passengers, it is immoral to sit on a bad and painful seat. This is like deception with the passengers.

At the same time, Chauhan questioned that no passenger should have such trouble, will Air India management take any steps for this or will take advantage of the compulsion of passengers to reach early.
