There has been a big change in Bihar Congress before the assembly elections. The Congress high command has removed Akhilesh Singh from the post of state president. In his place, party MLA Rajesh Kumar has been appointed as the new state president.
,
Rajesh Kumar comes from the Dalit community. The party has tried to maintain social balance by making him president. This decision of the Congress is also being linked to the strategy of the upcoming elections.
The reason for the removal of Akhilesh Singh is believed to be the internal differences of the party and the continuous dissatisfaction in the state unit. The party under the leadership of Rajesh Kumar will now work under a new strategy.
Attempt to bring back Dalit vote bank
Rajesh Kumar is an MLA from Kutamba in Aurangabad. The NDA has broken the Dalit vote bank of the Congress through Chirag Paswan and Jitan Ram Manjhi. The Congress has tried to bring it back. The previous in -charge devotee Charan Das tried to make him the state president.
