Fast bowler Alzarri Joseph has returned to the West Indies team, which is trailing 0-2 in the T-20 series against England. Apart from this, Shamar Springer has been given a chance. Joseph is returning from a two-match ban, while Shamar has been included in the team in place of injured Andre Russell.
Joseph was banned for arguing with captain Shai Hope during the match. The West Indies team had lost the first match of the series by 8 wickets and the second match by 7 wickets. The third match of the series will be played on 14 November in Gros Islet.
Andre Russell’s ankle injury According to the information received, Andre Russell has an injury in his left ankle. Because of this he is out of the remaining three matches. Cricket West Indies reported that Russell was injured during the first match in Bridgetown on 9 November. All-rounder Shamar Springer will replace him.

Captain Powell will have options with Springer’s inclusion. With the inclusion of Springer, the team also has options in bowling. Springer made his T20 debut against Sri Lanka last month, in which he has taken 1 for 25 and 1 for 24 in his two matches so far.
Shamar Springer has taken 2 wickets in the two T20 matches played so far and has also scored runs at a strike rate of 116.
