New Delhi:
India’s security threat and preparedness: Where in the world is there tension or war going on? Russia-Ukraine war (Russia Ukraine war) is going on. This war started two and a half years ago. Israel attacks Gaza to eliminate Hamas (Israel Hamas War), Israel’s Lebanon (Israel Lebanon War), Israel’s attack on Syria (Israel Syria attack) and now after the attack on each other between Israel and Iran, there are chances of its increase. Apart from this, tension continues between China and Taiwan and now for the last few days, tension between North Korea and South Korea is increasing. Just a few days ago, India and China reached an agreement to reduce the ongoing tension on their border and brought the situation under control. This tension was also going on for the last 5 years. The armies of both the countries stood facing each other.
What is India’s preparation?
When tension is increasing so much in the world, it is natural that the question arises in everyone’s mind as to what is India’s preparation. What is the situation of India? Israel attacked Iran 2000 kilometers away. The borders of both the countries do not meet, yet both the countries are attacking each other with missiles or using war planes. India fought many battles across the border.
Preparation to bring bombers from Russia
In such a situation, India has started its preparations. India has started purchasing Russian heavy bomber aircraft Tu-22M3 and Tu-160 ‘White Swan’. According to reports published in the media, Russia has agreed to provide both the bombers. Let us tell you that Tu-22M3 was offered to the Indian Navy two decades ago, but due to high price and expenses, the deal could not be finalized. The estimated cost of a Tu-160M is $165 million. This aircraft is capable of carrying 12 long-range cruise missiles or short-range nuclear missiles simultaneously.
Bomber with the capability to fly continuously for 12000 kilometers
This bomber can fly 12000 kilometers once filled with fuel. This will be the first such aircraft of the Indian Air Force which will have the capability to rain bombs over such a long distance. It is being told that these aircraft will be supplied by 2027.
What are India’s preparations regarding missiles?
This is a matter of heaven. But the game of missiles is going to increase in future. In such a situation, what is India’s preparation in case of missile attack? What is India’s capability and how strong is India’s defense system? Let’s talk about this in this article today…
In the last few decades, India has made significant development in its missile technology. The country has indigenously developed many types of missiles. These missiles include ballistic missiles, cruise missiles and anti-tank missiles.
Some major missile systems are
agni missile
Agni missile is a medium range ballistic missile. Let us tell you that Agni missile is a group of missiles capable of hitting medium to intercontinental distances. It has been developed completely in India with indigenous technology. India has deployed three versions of this missile group as of 2008.
Agni-1 missile
This missile is a medium range ballistic missile. It can hit ranges of 700 – 1,250 kilometers. This missile is being used by the armies.
Agni-2 missile
Agni 2 missile is a medium range ballistic missile. Its range is 2,000 – 3,000 kilometers. This missile has also been deployed.
Agni-3 missile
Agni 3 missile is also a medium range missile. Its range is 3,500 – 5,000 kilometers. This missile has also been deployed for use by the armies.
Agni-4 missile
Agni 4 missile is also called medium range missile. This ballistic missile covers a range of 3,000 – 4,000 kilometers. Testing of this missile is still going on. It is expected to be deployed soon.
Agni-5 missile
Agni-5 missile is called ICBM range missile. That means it is an intercontinental ballistic missile. Its range is 5,000 – 8,000 kilometers. This missile is also still in the testing stage.
Agni-6 missile
Agni-6 missile is also an ICBM range missile. It is also an intercontinental ballistic missile. This missile is being prepared for a range of 8,000 – 10,000 kilometers. Currently its development work is going on.
prithvi missile
Prithvi missile is a short range ballistic missile. This missile is also a nuclear ballistic missile. There are three variants of this missile. Prithvi-1, Prithvi 2 and Prithvi 3. Of these, Prithvi 1 is a single-stage liquid-fueled ballistic missile. Its range is 150 kilometers.
Prithvi 2 missile is a single-stage, liquid-fueled missile. The range of this missile is 350 kilometers. This missile can hit the target up to 350 kilometers. It can also carry many types of explosives. Prithvi-2 missile is capable of carrying a nuclear bomb. It is capable of attacking from surface to surface. The length of this missile is nine meters.
nag missile
Nag missile is an anti-tank missile. It is said that this missile has been named after the cobra snake. Now the third generation of this missile has been prepared under the Integrated Guided Missile Development Program (IGMDP).
This missile comes in five types of variants and can be deployed in every weather. The weight of this missile is 43 kg and this missile can be fired at a speed of 828 kilometers per hour. Helina (Army version) and Dhruvastra (Indian Air Force version) of this missile have been tested. This missile can be fired at any time of the day or night. This missile is capable of targeting and detonating any tank.
Brahmos
BrahMos missile (Brahmos Missile) is a supersonic cruise missile. Cruise missiles are those which fly fast at low altitude and thus escape from radar. The specialty of BrahMos is that it can be fired from land, air, submarine and even warship.
This missile has been made jointly by India and Russia. This missile can be launched from land, sea, and air.
Apart from conventional launcher, BrahMos can also be launched from vertical launcher. This missile can fly even at a height of 10 meters. BrahMos missile can attack up to 290 kilometers.
BrahMos missile can be fired at targets from land to land, land to water, water to land, sea to sea, air to water and air to land.
How is anti missile defense
India has also made preparations in the last few years to prevent missile attacks. India has taken S-400 from Russia. It has also created its own defense system which is similar to Israel’s Iron Dome. This system can destroy any enemy aircraft, missile, drone or helicopter coming within a range of 25 kilometers. Its range will be further expanded.
Apart from this, India also has air defense systems. These include Indian Ballistic Missile Defense Program, S-400 Triumph Air Defense System, Akash Air Defense System. There is no doubt that if the world is now acknowledging India’s might, then the defense preparations made by the Indian government are behind it.
