Lucknow:
The country’s renowned builder Ansal Group has been declared bankrupt. Thousands of investors are worried about their future due to the bankruptcy of Ansal Group. Now on the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, an FIR will be lodged against the Ansal Group and this decision will be challenged in the court. CM Yogi has said on this matter that Ansal was the product of SP. If he cheated on a single home buyer, he will seize all his property. He said that earlier the mafia used to run, the police used to run, the police used to salute the mafia, but now it will not happen. We will also bring it from Hades and get punished.
In Lucknow, more than 5 thousand people have been stuck in Ansal Group for more than a decade. Till now neither land has been found nor their money was returned. In such a situation, now when investors got the news of Ansal Group’s bankruptcy, they demonstrated in Lucknow. The matter reached Chief Minister Yogi. Now CM Yogi Adityanath has clearly said that the rigging with investors will not be tolerated. Instructing an FIR against the Ansal Group, the CM has said that a team of investors and LDA officials will be formed, so that the case can be firmly advocated in the court.
In fact, the Ansal Group took a loan of Rs 250 crore from a private company. Out of this, 83 crore rupees are outstanding. The company described itself as unable to pay the money in the National Company Law Tribunal i.e. NCLT. The NCLT has given bankruptcy on the basis of Ansal Group’s claim. Now when the investors created a ruckus, the UP government has said that this decision of NCLT was unilaterally pronounced and said to challenge it in the court.
NDTV spoke to some people in Lucknow, who had invested their money in the Ansal group. Today, nearly one and a half decades passed while fighting, but no result could come out. These customers told that in 2006, Ansal started the township. After this, in 2011, money was taken from customers in the name of Phase 2. It was said that after the sewer and water pipeline in the township, road and park work will be done. This work was claimed to complete the land in a very short time. Customers put 90-95 percent money. Today, it is about 15 years but the land was not found. Customers say that they were sure because of the name of the Ansal group and the approval of the LDA that they would not be cheated, but till date their problem could not be resolved.
When the Ansal Group started the township in Lucknow, Sarvesh Goyal, the big businessman of UP, was the first person to spend big money in the project of Ansal named Sushant Golf City. Sarvesh Goyal built GD Goenka School and then invested in Five Star Hotel named The Central. Sarvesh Goyal wanted to build a mall here. For the mall, he made an agreement to sale in 2010 to buy a large piece of land from the Ansal Group. Today, even after 15 years, the Ansal Group did not give him land. Big businessmen like Sarvesh Goyal were also victims of this fraud. Sarvesh Goyal told how he was framed with him.
Customers investing in Ansal’s Sushant Golf City Project held a protest on Monday. In this, local BJP MLA Rajeshwar Singh assured the customers to provide justice. In the evening, VC Prathamesh Kumar from LDA said that on the basis of complaints coming against Ansal Group, action will be taken.
Currently, on the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the police will file an FIR on the Tahrir of investors in this matter. LDA will check the documents by taking investors. Meanwhile, the Ansal Group has claimed that wrong claims are being made against him by advertising in newspapers. In such a situation, on the basis of investigation, the whole thing will come out that the total scam of a total of crores has been done on behalf of the Ansal Group and how much money has been taken in exchange for giving land from common customers. At present, investors expect justice from the government. How and when this justice will be found is a big question.
