An arrest warrant has been issued against former cricketer Robin Uthappa on Saturday. According to reports, Robin is the partner and manager of clothing manufacturing company Centuries Life Style Brand Pvt. Ltd. He is accused that PF was deducted from the salaries of the company’s employees, but was not deposited in the account.
Bengaluru Regional EPFO Commissioner Shadakshari Gopal Reddy had issued a warrant to Robin Uthappa to deposit around Rs 23 lakh on December 4. When Pulkeshinagar police station went to receive the warrant, Robin was not found at his home.
It is being told that he is in Dubai with his family. According to reports, if the money is not deposited by December 27, Robin may be arrested.
