When did BJP government become Delhi

After this, the Congress has no problem in forming the government in the third assembly elections of Delhi in 2003. The Congress had won the final victory in the 2008 elections in the Delhi Assembly elections so far. 57.58 percent polling was done. In this election, Congress got 40.31 percent votes and 43 seats. At the same time, BJP’s account had 36.34 percent votes and 23 seats. Delhi hosted the Commonwealth Games in 2010. For this, Sheila Dixit’s government decorated Delhi fiercely. But later there were allegations of corruption in organizing Commonwealth Games. The situation even came to a state that Suresh Kalmadi, the head of the event and senior Congress leader, had to be arrested. During this time, both the Manmohan government of the Center and the Sheila Dixit government faced allegations of corruption.
Aam Aadmi Party Rise
The agitation against corruption started in Delhi in the early 21st century. At that time there was a Congress government at the center. He was charged with serious allegations of corruption. The Aam Aadmi Party was born with this movement. This party, formed in 2012, contested its first election in Delhi in 2013. The public support you got shocked the pundits of politics. The Aam Aadmi Party, which is contesting the first election, got the benefit of the fight against corruption. He got 29.49 percent votes and 28 seats in the first election. At the same time, the Congress had to bear the brunt of the fight against corruption. He got only 24.55 percent of the votes and only eight seats. At the same time, BJP got the most seats in this election. But the AAP formed the government with the support of the Congress, but this government could not run much. A total of 65.63 percent polling was held in this election.
Will anyone be able to break the record of Aam Aadmi Party
After the 2013 elections, the Aam Aadmi Party did not have to put much emphasis to win the next two elections. In the 2015 assembly elections, there was 67.12 percent polling. In this election, AAP got 67 seats with 54.34 percent votes. BJP got only 32.19 percent votes and three seats. After this, in the 2020 assembly elections, you did not suffer a lot of damage. A total of 62.55 percent polling was held in this election. In this, you got 53.57 percent votes and 62 seats. At the same time, BJP was able to increase the number of its seats compared to the previous time. He got eight seats and 38.51 percent votes. At the same time, the hands of the Congress remained vacant in the 2015 and 2020 elections. He did not get any seat and his vote share also fell in one issue.
