Regarding Delhi Assembly Elections, BJP’s candidate from Kalkaji Assembly seat Ramesh Bidhuri got into trouble by making a controversial statement on Congress General Secretary and MP Priyanka Gandhi. Bidhuri also apologized after the criticism, but her harsh words did not stop. Just hours after the statement regarding Priyanka Gandhi, she targeted Delhi Chief Minister Atishi, which has once again given rise to controversy. Taking aim at Atishi, Bidhuri said that Atishi has changed his father.
What did Ramesh Bidhuri say about Atishi?
Addressing BJP’s ‘Parivartan Rally’ in Rohini, Bidhuri said that Atishi has changed her surname from ‘Marlena’ to ‘Singh’. Atishi, the current MLA from Kalkaji seat, had removed his surname some time ago.
“She became Singh from Marlena (the alias used earlier by Atishi), she changed her name,” alleged Bidhuri. Kejriwal had sworn on his children that he would not go with the corrupt Congress, (and now) Marlena has changed her father. Earlier she was Marlena, now she has become Leo. This is his character.
Arvind Kejriwal’s sharp reaction on BJP
AAP’s national convenor Arvind Kejriwal has reacted sharply to these comments in a post on X. He said, “BJP leaders have crossed all limits of shamelessness. BJP leaders are abusing Delhi Chief Minister Atishi ji. The people of Delhi will not tolerate the insult of a woman Chief Minister. All the women of Delhi will tolerate this. Will take revenge.”
Bidhuri will lose to a woman Chief Minister: AAP
Aam Aadmi Party spokesperson Priyanka Kakkar has reacted on social media platform X to Bidhuri’s statement regarding Atishi. He said, “If he can use derogatory language for a woman Chief Minister, then just imagine how he will behave with an ordinary woman if Ramesh Bidhuri accidentally becomes an MLA. BJP insults women because women are Son and brother will blindly support Arvind Kejriwal and will lose badly to the woman Chief Minister.
Controversial statement on Priyanka Gandhi, also apologized
Earlier, Ramesh Bidhuri had given a controversial statement regarding Priyanka Gandhi. The video of the controversial statement had gone viral on social media, in which Bidhuri can be heard saying that Lalu Yadav had promised to make the roads of Bihar like the cheeks of Hema Malini, but he could not do so. I assure you that just like the roads of Okhla and Sangam Vihar have been built. Similarly, I will make all the roads of Kalkaji like the cheeks of Priyanka Gandhi.

BJP has fielded Bidhuri from Kalkaji assembly seat, from where Chief Minister Atishi is the MLA. Whereas Congress has made Alka Lamba its candidate from this seat. A triangular contest is expected with two veterans contesting against Atishi. Election dates for Delhi Assembly will be announced soon.
