‘Azad’ is the ‘debut’ film of Rasha Thadani and Aman Devgan. Mother of one is Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon, father is a distributor of big films of the film industry from ‘Pushpa 2’ to ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’, maternal uncle of the other is Ajay Devgan, it is obvious that both these star kids are the ‘fire test’ of acting. ‘Everyone wants to know whether I will pass or fail. Let us tell you, both Rasha Thadani and Aman Devgan have passed the acting exam. As per the first film, both of them have acted well and their hard work for the film is clearly visible. But for me the hero of the film is ‘Ghoda’. After a long time, a film has come in which an animal has left the actors behind. Now, anyone who has 10 animals of his own will definitely like this film, but you will also definitely like this film and we will tell you the reason why in this review.

Story

The story of the film is of 1920, when before independence our country was under British rule. The landlords, who licked the soles of the British, considered it their right to grab the public property. Similarly, Govind (Aman Devgan) works for a landlord Rai Bahadur (Piyush Mishra). Govind works with his father in the landlord’s stable to take care of horses. The entire village of Govind is in fear of Rai Bahadur and his son Tej Bahadur (Mohit Mallik). Both father and son forcefully send the villagers of their area abroad to work in the British mines for low wages. The landlord’s family also includes his daughter Janaki (Rasha Thadani), who loves horse riding. However, in this village the poor villagers are not allowed to sit on horses. One day, after being whipped by the landlord for sitting on the landlord’s horse, Govind runs away from the village and there he meets his first love and that love is rebel Thakur Vikram Singh’s (Ajay Devgan) horse ‘Azad’. If you want to know the further story, you will have to go to the theater and watch Rasha Thadani and Aman Devgan’s film ‘Azad’.

Know how the film is

After ‘Haathi Mere Saathi’, ‘Teri Meherbaniyaan’, not many films on animals were made in India. Perhaps because of the strict laws regarding animals, most people have now started using CGI. Although I am also strongly against using animals for our own benefit, but keeping aside the animal lover in me, if I watch this film, it is a very good, heart-touching, lovely film. If Rasha and Aman wanted, they could have made their debut with a glamorous, masala, typical Bollywood film like ‘Student of the Year’, but they have made their debut with a film which tells a good story. Obviously, credit for this will also have to be given to the film’s director Abhishek Kapoor, because the hard work he has done to Rasha and Aman has finally paid off.

directing

Director Abhishek Kapoor was working on the script of this film since 2016. But the hero of his film is not the script, but his direction. Talking about the script, the back story is missing at many places, like it is the story of the times when women in veils used to work in the landlord’s house. But here in the film, she is shown eating food sitting at the dining table with men. Now Abhishek must be thinking that the audience should themselves understand that this landlord wants to marry his daughter to an Englishman and hence his lifestyle is foreign. But many times the audience has to be told this, they cannot take it for granted. Abhishek has made Rasha and Aman act, but for what they have done with the horse, all their sins are forgiven. The background score of Amit Trivedi has also added life to the film.

acting

If we talk about acting, the first thing we should talk about is the horse playing the character of Azad. In the film, we see the horse laughing, making fun of someone, we can feel how jealous this horse is who is looking at Govind with slanted eyes. On one hand, we laugh seeing his madness for alcohol, on the other hand, our eyes become moist seeing him crying for his master. This horse is also romancing in the film. Can’t tell the climax scene, but Azad has done wonders in this scene too. I would say that this horse will be the biggest challenge for both Aman and Rasha in the Best Debut Acting category of this year.

Talking about Rasha Thadani, Rasha has given complete justice to her role. His dance is amazing. She wins hearts with her cute expressions. Raveena Tandon Being Raveena’s daughter, comparison with her mother is justified, but Rasha’s acting style is different, compared to Raveena’s debut film, we see maturity in Rasha’s acting. Now let’s talk about peace. There is a scene in the film, where we see Aman Devgan running in the hot sun without wearing anything on his feet, there is also a long short in the film where he can be seen running barefoot and seeing this scene, it is known that the director You have made your new actors work so hard. Aman’s acting has the spontaneity of Ajay Devgan. His dialogue delivery is also good, there is a change in his facial expression while doing comedy, crying, getting angry and this is a big thing. Because many star kids are seen doing big big budget films without any expression.

Why watch and why not watch

Recently, about one and a half months ago, on December 9, Sarpanch Santosh Deshmukh of a small village named Masajog in Beed district of Maharashtra was brutally murdered. The attackers had also shown the live video of his murder to someone else. A few days before this incident, actress Jaya Bhattacharya had told in a press conference how a puppy of less than 3 months of age was repeatedly raped by some animal. Looking at all this, it seems as if humanity is slowly coming to an end. Today, in the reels of social media, many children are seen showing off their swag by showing guns or pistols, it has now become a common thing to go live while killing others. Abusive social media influencers have become idols of people and then come films like ‘Animal’, the superhit of these films shows that emotions like kindness and compassion will now have to be found in humans. This is the reason why films like ‘Missing Ladies’, ’12th Fail’ or ‘Azad’ should be given a chance. Because we remain human, remain connected to our land. So if you want to see a different world, a good movie, then go to the theatre.free’ See. I give this film an extra star because its story reaches the heart and awakens emotions. Now it is not in my hands to control the box office, but in this way we can at least praise the film.
