Bajrang Dal workers clashed with Christian community people in Barnala, Ambala, created ruckus alleging conversion

People of Christian community have been praying in a rented room in Barnala village for the last three years. When the members of Bajrang Dal got information about this, they reached the village and started creating ruckus and fighting among the people of Christian community, accusing them of forcibly converting them.

There was a clash between Bajrang Dal and people of Christian community in Barnala village of Ambala, Haryana on Sunday. It is being told that people of Christian community were gathering in a rented house in Barnala and holding a prayer meeting. On receiving information about this, people of Bajrang Dal reached the spot and started creating ruckus by alleging conversion, after which there was a huge ruckus between the two parties. After receiving information about the matter, Ambala police reached the spot and intervened.

According to the report, people of Christian community have been praying in a rented room in Barnala village for the last three years. When the members of Bajrang Dal got information about this, they reached the village and started creating ruckus by accusing the people of Christian community of forcibly converting people. During the allegations and counter-allegations from both the sides, the atmosphere became heated and both attacked each other. Many people have also been hurt.

SHO of Panjokhara police station told the media that we received information that a fight was taking place in Barnala. After this the police team reached the spot. There is Vikram, who is a Christian, he has taken a room on rent for three years. People of Christian community pray there. On getting information about the prayer, Bajrang Dal workers reached the spot. He told the people of Christian community not to do the work of religious conversion here. During this time, they argued with each other and a fight broke out between the two parties. Complaints have been given from both the parties. Police are investigating and taking further action in the matter.

Bajrang Dal worker told that the work of conversion was going on in Barnala for a long time. On receiving information about this, our team reached the spot to find out. There, the team observed on the spot that conversion was being carried out by hypocrites. We said why are you luring people into conversions when none of you are Christians, you too are Hindus. When he said this, he started abusing and attacked. During this time, one of our workers suffered a serious head injury and was given medical treatment. We have complained about this matter to the SHO.

While talking to the media, Vikram Eleazar said that I have been planting a church in Barnala for about four years. No such thing has happened till date. Today around 11.30 am some mischievous elements come and start raising slogans of Jai Shri Ram. Some of our people went to him and asked what was his problem. So he alleged that the work of religious conversion is going on here, we will not allow it to happen. We told him there was nothing like that. So they started attacking. Some of our brothers have suffered head injuries and many sisters have broken hands. Some children also suffered head injuries. The injured have been given medical treatment. After this he was admitted to the hospital for treatment. Vikram Eleazar has appealed to the police to take action against the accused.
