Former Aam Aadmi Party councilor and accused of Delhi riots Tahir Hussain has received 6 days of conditional custody parole from the Supreme Court. This time Tahir is a candidate from Asaduddin Owaisi’s party AIMIM from Mustafabad seat. The Supreme Court said in its order, “Tahir Hussain will be released for election campaign from 29 January to 3 February (for 12 hours according to the jail manual). Will have to return to jail at night.”

The court asked Hussain to give Rs 2.47 lakh every day as security expenses including the jail van. In this way, he will have to pay 14.82 lakh rupees in 6 days. Voting is on 5 February for the assembly elections in Delhi. Results will come on 8 February.

-Tahir Hussain will come out of jail in police custody.

Where there was a riot, there is his house. He is contesting from Mustafabad seat. And we promise that Tahir will not go home and will be given its entire details.

Riots started on 24 February 2020 in Delhi. These riots started during the protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). In this riots in North East Delhi, 53 people lost their lives and more than 250 people were injured.
