Bangladesh In Trap Of Pakistan And China: Bangladesh is taking new risks for itself by forgetting its history. After all, why has Bangladesh Army called Pakistan Army for training? Bangladesh was formed after being fed up with the oppression and tyranny of Pakistan, but today it loves Pakistan only. And it is so lovely that Bangladesh has given the responsibility of training its army to the Pakistani Army. The Pakistani Army, which is known as the army that promotes terrorism, just think what will that Pakistani Army do to the Bangladesh Army? That is why the question is arising that is Bangladesh, which was formed 53 years ago by standing against the oppression of Pakistan, going to become a slave of the same Pakistan again?
On December 19, the head of the interim government of Bangladesh, Muhammad Yunus met Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif in Cairo. There was a diplomatic conspiracy hidden in this warmth, which has now come out in the open.
Bangladesh has called Pakistani Army for training its soldiers. It is reported that a special team under the leadership of a Major General rank officer of Pakistani Army will train the Bangladeshi Army. There is news that this training will start from February 2025 and will continue for one year. After this, Pakistani Army will go to all the ten commands of Bangladesh Army and provide training. This will be the first time since 1971 that Pakistani army will set foot on Bangladeshi soil.
This love of Bangladesh towards Pakistan is actually growing more in opposition to Sheikh Hasina. At present, the government of Bangladesh is so agitated against Sheikh Hasina that it does not even remember the wounds given to it by Pakistan. He can see India. The interim government of Muhammad Yunus in Bangladesh may have forgotten the Pakistani atrocities of 1971, but human history will not be able to forget it. Bangladesh should remember that today’s Bangladesh was a part of Pakistan in early 1971 and was known as East Pakistan. In the elections held in Pakistan in 1970, East Pakistan’s Sheikh Mujiburman’s party won, but the leaders and military officers of West Pakistan were not at all ready to hand over power to the Bengali-speaking Sheikh Mujib of East Pakistan.
Soldiers of West Pakistan raped women of East Pakistan. According to an estimate, about four lakh women were raped in East Pakistan. The common people of East Pakistan were not only beaten over every issue, but were even mass murdered. Then lakhs of people from Bangladesh started fleeing towards India, for which the Pakistani army killed thousands of people. At that time about one million people had come to India. But Sheikh Mujibur Rahman did not bow down before the Pakistani army. East Pakistan got independence due to their struggle and the help it received from India. And on December 16, 1971, a new country emerged on the world map in the form of Bangladesh. But today the pressure and influence of fundamentalists on Bangladesh has increased so much that it has started poisoning the hearts and minds of common citizens.
Now the question is what kind of problems can arise for Bangladesh due to the entry of Pakistani army in Bangladesh? Due to this, Bangladesh may again go towards a miserable situation like East Pakistan. The development of Bangladesh can be taken over by terrorists inspired by Pakistan and the lamp of democracy in Bangladesh can be extinguished. According to reports, Bangladesh has now started importing ammunition from Pakistan. Only between September and December, 40 thousand cartridges reached Bangladesh. Apart from this, more than 40 tonnes of RDX has also arrived. Not only this, the navies of both the countries are also going to conduct joint exercises in Karachi in February next year.
On one hand, direct air service has been announced between Dhaka and Islamabad and on the other hand, visa for Pakistani citizens has been relaxed. Right now everything is looking good, but when the impact of ISI’s interference is felt, then perhaps it will be too late for Bangladesh.
After the overthrow of Sheikh Hasina, it is now visible that whatever happened in Bangladesh happened as part of a big conspiracy. The attitude of Bangladesh led by Muhammad Yunus seems more towards Pakistan and China. Just yesterday in Bangladesh, the railway bridge, which was built with the help of China, was opened to the common people.
Right now Bangladesh is praising China, but the new alliance between China-Pakistan and Bangladesh can become a challenge for India. Sheikh Hasina always kept Bangladesh away from the dark shadow of Pakistan during her long rule. The result was that Bangladesh chose the path of economic progress for itself along with India, but now the arrival of Pakistani army, weapons and ammunition in Bangladesh is an alarm bell for India too.
Entry of Pakistani army into Bangladesh may increase the threat to India’s 80 km wide Siliguri Corridor, which is known as Chicken Neck. This corridor connects the north-eastern states of India with the rest of the country. Siliguri Corridor is important for India also because China wants to capture Bhutan’s Doklam. In such a situation, the geopolitical location of Bangladesh becomes very important for India so that China does not get any support from there.
Bangladesh’s inclination towards Pakistan and China is sounding an alarm for India to be cautious from diplomatic and strategic point of view. After Pakistan’s entry into Bangladesh, the danger of fundamentalist and terrorist organizations gaining a foothold in the North-East may increase. There is a possibility of the group becoming more dominant.
