Bangladesh: Madrasa teacher arrested for raping two minor boys

There are major protests in Bangladesh to protest against increasing sexual offenses against women and children. Meanwhile, a madrasa teacher was detained on Sunday for raping two minor boys in Sarisabadi Upazila in Jamalpur district. According to the local newspaper ‘The Daily Star’, the name of the accused is Bojalur Rahman (30), who is a senior teacher of madrasa. The mother of a victim told that his 10 -year -old son was falling victim to this rape for the last two months, but he recently told about it. The mother of the second victim child said that her 9 -year -old son was facing this atrocities for four months.

When this incident came to light, the local people caught the accused and kept them in custody for hours. Later, the army intervened and handed him over to the police. The police is investigating the matter Both the victims have been admitted to the hospital for medical examination. Apart from this, the incident of rape of two children has also come to light in Kahalu in Bogura district.

Local police officer Abdul Hannan said that a case of rape and abuse of two children has been registered against Noor Islam. The victims have been sent to Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital for medical examination, and efforts are on to arrest the accused.

In recent times, many such cases have been reported in Bangladesh. On Saturday, at least four people were sent to jail in seven districts in cases of rape and rape attempt, one was arrested, and two others were registered.

Six children raped in a week

Earlier this week, there were incidents of rape of six children in six different districts. Seven people were arrested in these cases. The aged children are between six and fourteen years old. A teenager, a victim of sexual harassment, committed suicide in a tragic incident. Many political parties and student organizations in Bangladesh are protesting against the caretaker government. They are accusing Prime Minister Mohammad Yunus’s government of failing to ensure the safety of women and children.

Protests have intensified against the rape and murder case of an eight -year -old girl in Magura district. This week, students of Dhaka University took out a torch procession and demanded strict action against this growing violence. The protesters raised slogans, demanding the removal of the advisor of the Home Affairs and justice.

After the Yunus government comes to power, crimes against women and children have increased, due to which the law and order situation is getting worse. People are constantly demanding the removal of Jahangir Alam Chaudhary, advisor for home affairs. People believe that they are failing to restore security in the country.
