Three warriors of India have entered the sea on Wednesday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi On Wednesday, in the presence of the Navy’s warships INS Nilgiri, INS Surat and INS Waghshir, they were launched at the Naval Dockyard in Mumbai. On this occasion, PM Modi said that India is not an expansionist, India works in the spirit of development. In fact, this is a direct message to China, which is eyeing the Asia-Pacific region and is continuously doing mischief.

PM Modi said, ‘India has always supported an open, secure, inclusive and prosperous Indo Pacific region. Therefore, when it came to the development of countries adjacent to the sea, India gave the mantra – ‘SAGAR’. Sagar means Security and Growth for all in the region. We moved forward with Sagar’s vision. When India was faced with the responsibility of assuming the presidency of G-20, we gave the mantra to the world – One Earth, One Family, One Future.

PM Modi said, ‘When the world was struggling fighting Corona, India gave the vision – One Earth, One Health. We consider the whole world as family. We are people who believe in the principle of Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas. Therefore, India also considers the defense and security of this entire region as its responsibility. The role of a maritime nation like India is going to be huge in giving direction to global security, economics and geopolitical dynamics.

Our forces are more capable, for this India is moving in the direction of theater command. The way the three armies of India have adopted the mantra of self-reliance in the last 10 years is highly commendable. India’s dependence on other countries should be minimal in times of crisis. Understanding the seriousness of this, we are taking this work forward. Giving leadership.

The PM said that for economic progress and energy security, it is necessary to protect traditional and territorial waters. Freedom of navigation should be ensured. And the supply lines and sea routes of trade should be safe. We have to save this entire region from terrorism, arms and drugs smuggling. Therefore, it is important today that we become global partners in making the ocean safe and prosperous.

Our armies have prepared a list of more than 5 thousand items of equipment and equipment, which they will no longer import from foreign countries. When an Indian soldier moves forward with equipment made in India, his confidence is also different. In the last 10 years, the country’s largest helicopter manufacturing factory has started in Karnataka.

  • INS Nilgiri is the top ship of the Project 17A stealth frigate class.
  • It has been designed by the Warship Design Bureau of the Indian Navy.
  • It is full of modern aviation facilities. It can also operate various types of helicopters including MH-60R.
  • INS Surat, the fourth and final frigate of the Project 15B stealth destroyer class, is a member of the next generation of Kolkata class destroyers.
  • Improvements have been made in its design and capacity.
  • Like INS Nilgiri, it has also been designed by the Warship Design Bureau and manufactured at MDL.
  • INS Waghshir is the sixth and final warship of the Scorpene class under Project 75.
  • It is a multi-role diesel-electric powered ship.
  • All three warships have been completely designed and built in India.
