Prime Minister Narendra Modi today inaugurated the ISKCON temple built in Kharghar, Navi Mumbai near Mumbai. This ISKCON temple was built at a cost of Rs 170 crore and is the second largest temple in Asia.

This ISKCON temple, which was completed in 12 years, has a memorial to its founder Srila Prabhupada. Spread over 9 acres, this temple is dedicated to Lord Krishna.

Ration scam- Former Bengal minister Jyotipriya Malik got bail, arrested by ED in 2023

A Kolkata court on Wednesday granted bail to former West Bengal minister Jyotipriya Malik in the ration scam case. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) is investigating the ration scam case. The Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) court has granted bail on a personal bond of Rs 50 lakh.

Malik, who held the Food and Supplies Department from 2011 to 2021, was arrested by the ED on 27 October 2023 from his house in Salt Lake, Kolkata.

Karkardooma Court on Wednesday allowed Delhi riots accused Tahir Hussain to file nomination for Delhi Assembly elections.

If the nomination is not filed on January 16, then the court has ordered to file the nomination on January 17 also. Tahir Hussain is AIMIM candidate from Mussafabad seat of Delhi.

Hearing in Supreme Court on Congress’ petition against changing election rules, notice issued to Election Commission and Center

Hearing was held in the Supreme Court on Wednesday on the petition filed by Congress regarding changes in election rules. The bench of CJI Sanjeev Khanna and Justice Sanjay Kumar has issued a notice to the Central Government and the Election Commission seeking their response.

Auto rickshaw collides with bus, car and tempo in Thane, Maharashtra, 3 killed

Police said that the accident took place at 4.15 am near Khinavali bridge in Ghoteghar village of Shahpur on Mumbai-Agra National Highway.

Police said the auto-rickshaw driver lost control, due to which the rickshaw hit the divider, then went out of the lane and collided with a bus, two cars and a tempo coming from the opposite direction.

3 year old child dies after falling from escalator in Delhi, parents were busy buying movie tickets in the mall

A three-year-old child died after falling from an escalator in a mall in Tilak Nagar, West Delhi on Tuesday evening. Delhi Police said that the child’s parents were busy buying movie tickets. He did not pay attention to the child. The child walked near the escalator while playing.

He was trying to slide on the handrail of the escalator, but suddenly he lost his balance and fell from a height of several feet. After being injured, the child was taken to Deen Dayal Upadhyay (DDU) Hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.

44 arrests so far in Kerala athlete rape case, police said – 2 absconding accused are abroad, lookout circular issued

Kerala Police on Tuesday arrested 11 people in connection with the rape of a Dalit athlete (18 years) in Pathanamthitta district. So far 44 people have been arrested in this case. DIG Ajita Begum, who is monitoring the investigation, said that so far 30 FIRs have been registered in the case.

59 have been made accused in these FIRs. Ajita told that two accused are absconding. He is currently abroad. Police will issue a lookout circular against him. There are also plans to issue a Red Corner Notice against him through Interpol. The remaining 13 are yet to be arrested.
