The CBI has claimed in the charge sheet that the government treasury suffered a loss of 398.21 million euros (about Rs 2666 crore) due to the 2010 helicopter deal.

At the same time, in June 2016, the ED charge sheet said that Mitchell received 30 million euros (about 225 crore rupees) from AgustaWestland. Mitchell was extradited from Dubai in December 2018. He has been in jail since then.
