In Navi Mumbai, two unidentified persons allegedly killed a policeman by pushing him in front of a train between Rabale and Ghansoli. Vashi Railway Police Station official said on Thursday that the policeman has been identified as Vijay Ramesh Chavan, 42, resident of Ghansoli.
The officer said that on Wednesday night, people wearing white shirts attacked Chavan with an unknown object and pushed him in front of the train. A case of murder has been registered. No arrests have been made yet.

4 people stole money from a young man in Dakshin Express, beat him to death when he asked for it back
A young man was murdered by 4 thieves in the Hyderabad-Delhi Dakshin Express train on Thursday morning. The deceased Shashank Ramsingh Raj (25) was going from Secunderabad to Jhansi. Four people allegedly stole Rs 1700 from his pocket at around 3.30 am near Nagpur.
Raj realized that his money was missing and asked the thieves to return the money. But the thieves beat him brutally, due to which he died. When the train reached Nagpur in Maharashtra, GRP detained 4 people.

AAP MP Sanjay Singh has sent a defamation notice to BJP leaders Amit Malviya and Manoj Tiwari. This notice has been sent regarding his wife’s voter ID. In which both the BJP leaders had claimed that the voter ID of their wife Anita Singh is at the address of Sultanpur district of Uttar Pradesh.
However, Sanjay Singh had clarified that his wife’s voter ID card is at the address of North Avenue in New Delhi Assembly constituency and her name was removed from Sultanpur in January 2024 itself.

Maharashtra: Fire breaks out in Navi Mumbai hotel, four nearby shops burnt
A fire broke out in a hotel in Ulwe Sector 2 of Navi Mumbai in Maharashtra on Thursday. Apart from the hotel, four nearby shops also caught fire. However, there is no news of any casualty. The reason for the fire was also not revealed.

Dead bodies found in hotel of 3 youths who had gone to celebrate New Year in Jammu and Kashmir
Dead bodies of three youths who had gone to celebrate New Year in Doda in Jammu and Kashmir were found in a hotel. Doda SSP Sandeep Mehta said, we received a call from Jammu that a person named Ashutosh had come to Bhaderwah with his two friends to celebrate New Year. All three youths died under suspicious circumstances in the hotel room. The deceased have been identified as Mukesh, Ashutosh and Sunny. Investigation of the matter is ongoing.
