The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has postponed the Space Docking Experiment (SPADEX) scheduled for January 9. Suspended after detection of excessive drift between 2 space satellites. ISRO launched mission SPADEX on 30 December 2024.

Earlier, space docking was to take place on January 7 but even then it had to be postponed. The Indian space agency said the problem occurred during an operation to reduce the distance between the satellites to 225 metres, in which the drift after a non-visibility period became greater than expected.
