Four people were injured in an attack on a bus in Ramban, Jammu and Kashmir. All four work in a construction company. The bus was taking them to the tunnel project site of Marog. On the way, some masked people stopped the bus and assaulted other people sitting in it. Ramban SSP Kulbir Singh said that he has been detained for questioning.

Mumbai court sentences 20 years to 8 Pakistanis, imposes fine of ₹2 lakh; were caught with drugs
A special court in Mumbai on Wednesday sentenced 8 Pakistani citizens to 20 years in jail. In 2015, the Indian Coast Guard arrested Pakistani nationals with 232 kg of heroin from a boat off the Gujarat coast. Its price was around Rs 7 crore.

16 Bangladeshi citizens arrested in Maharashtra, had made Aadhaar cards fraudulently
Maharashtra Police has arrested 16 Bangladeshi nationals living illegally in Mumbai, Thane and three other districts of the state. All of them had made Aadhaar cards using forged documents. The Anti Terrorist Squad had arrested 43 Bangladeshi citizens last month.
94.8 lakh devotees visited Vaishno Devi temple; Second highest number in a decade
In Vaishno Devi, 94.83 lakh devotees visited the temple in 2024. This information was given by the CEO of Vaishno Devi Shrine Board. He said that this is the second highest number of pilgrims to the Vaishno Devi temple in a decade. For the third consecutive year, the number of devotees visiting the temple has crossed 90 lakh. Last year this number had crossed 95 lakh.
