The Supreme Court on Tuesday heard a petition demanding the Central Government to give guidelines to the Central Bureau of Investigation and Central Vigilance Commission to investigate the cases within the stipulated time. The petition was filed by advocate Manish Pathak, who raised the issue of pending more than 2500 cases with CBI. Pathak told the court that the CBI has not filed any reply yet.
CJI Sanjeev Khanna’s bench has asked the Center to file a reply on the petition in 4 weeks. The court said that it would hear the case in July. Also, Amicus will consider appointing the Curie.

BSF jawan’s body was found in Palora, Jammu, a mark of pellet on the body
The body of the Border Security Force (BSF) jawan was found in Palora in Jammu and Kashmir. There was a wound of bullet on his body. The BSF official said that Head Constable Vikram Singh (46) was brought to GMC Jammu in dead condition. He was posted at the 54th Battalion BSF Headquarters Palora. The official said that after investigating, it was found that the jawan had wounds of bullet in his head.

Tata Motors’ passenger and electric vehicle prices announced up to 2%, applicable from 1 April
Automobile manufacturer Tata Motors is preparing to increase prices in the range of its passenger trains including electric vehicles since April 2025.

A bench of Justice Biwi Nagratna and Justice Satish Chandra Sharma said that it is not necessary to detain them to find out where Khedkar got a fake certificate.

Police have arrested two people in Surendranagar district of Gujarat. They are accused of giving money to people to adopt Christianity. According to the FIR, both the accused offered some people to give 20 thousand rupees for conversion. Woman arrested for pistol at Vaishno Devi temple, accused works in Delhi Police
Shri Mata Vaishno Devi reached the Devi temple with a pistol, breaking the security check. The incident is on the night of 14-15 March 2025. The woman has been identified as Jyoti Gupta, who is working in Delhi Police.

Interim bail case of MP Engineer Rashid postponed till 25 March
