Indian vice-captain Akshar Patel has made a big revelation on January 20 regarding the batting order of Team India for the T20I series against England. Akshar Patel said that the positions of openers Sanju Samson and Abhishek Sharma are fixed, but the batsmen from number one to number seven will have to be ready to play at any number. He said that all players should be flexible enough to use floaters as per the match situation.

Asked about batting order floaters ahead of the first T20I in Kolkata, the all-rounder replied that the openers are settled. Then all the players from number three to number seven were told that you can play any number according to the combination and the circumstances in the match. There is no fixed location. Not just for me, but it’s the same for everyone. It’s all about combinations as per the game. Akshar said that the T20 team has been decided. There is not much pressure.
