Bihar bandh of Pappu Yadav supporters, demand of BPSC re-exam: Members of student organization took to the streets in Patna, Katihar; 11th day of PK’s fast – Patna News

Purnia MP Pappu Yadav has called Bihar bandh today i.e. Sunday (January 12) demanding cancellation of BPSC 70th PT exam. Its effect is visible in Patna and Katihar.

Its impact is already visible on Patna’s Ashok Rajpath. Members of Chhatra Yuva Shakti Sangathan are protesting on the streets regarding BPSC re-exam. Within some time, Pappu Yadav will also come out of his residence in Patna and will try to make the bandh from Income Tax till Dak Bungalow Square successful.

Here, the supporters gathered at Shaheed Chowk in Katihar under the banner of Chhatra Yuva Shakti have blocked the road. Pappu Yadan has invited all opposition parties to support the bandh. The Purnia MP had said that ‘If Tejashwi Yadav joins the Bihar bandh, then we are ready to follow his leadership.’

Guru Rahman said – ready to go to jail but will not apologize

Here, notice has been given to Guru Rahman by BPSC. An apology has been said in this notice. Guru Rahman has said that ‘I will not apologize under any circumstances. I am ready to go to jail in the interest of students. The Secretary and Chairman of the Commission are liars. I had opposed normalization and am still doing so and will continue to do so. In any case, the Commission should take re-exam.

At the same time, the fast unto death of Jansuraj founder Prashant Kishore is also continuing in support of BPSC candidates. Due to improvement in his health, he was discharged from the hospital on Saturday evening. At the same time, Jansuraj has announced the next phase of Satyagraha from Tuesday. For this, posters have also been put up at different places in Patna.

On January 3, supporters of Pappu Yadav had stopped the trains.

Pappu Yadav and his supporters had also blocked the road on January 3 in support of BPSC candidates. Passenger trains were stopped in Patna. Pappu Yadav himself had reached Secretariat Halt railway station. After this Pappu Yadav marched on foot from Secretariat Halt to Income Tax Golambar.

After reaching Income Tax Golambar, he sat in his car and left for home. National and State Highways were blocked by Pappu Yadav’s workers in 12 districts of Bihar, Sasaram, Supaul, Kishanganj, Madhepura, Patna, Saharsa, Purnia, Lakhisarai, Aurangabad, Bhagalpur, Arrah and Araria. A case was registered at GRP police station against Purnia MP Pappu Yadav and 40 of his supporters for stopping the train during the demonstration at Patna’s Secretariat Halt.

Prashant Kishore, admitted in Medanta, was discharged from the hospital on Saturday.

PK on fast unto death for cancellation of exams

Prashant Kishor’s fast unto death continues with his demands including cancellation of BPSC 70th PT exam. Today is the 11th day of his fast. After his health deteriorated, he was admitted to the ICU ward of Medanta Hospital, Patna on 7 January. He remained in ICU for two days. After that he was kept in the isolation ward. He was discharged from the hospital on Saturday evening.

While admitted in the hospital, BPSC candidates had come to meet PK several times and appealed to him to end his fast. Prashant had told the candidates that the fast would continue until their demands were met.
