Rio de Janeiro: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday held talks with Australian Prime Minister Albanese on the sidelines of the G20 summit in Brazil and discussed overall bilateral relations. On bilateral talks between India and Australia, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, “Today we had a very fruitful second India-Australia summit meeting. This was my 11th meeting with my friend Albanese in the last two years. This is a great step forward in our bilateral relations. It is a symbol of new energy in India. Our mutual trade has increased by 40 percent in the last two years after the implementation of ECTA (Australia-India Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement), all aspects of our relations were discussed in detail today.”

Meeting of Chile’s President and PM Modi

Earlier, PM Modi held bilateral talks with Chilean President Gabriel Boric on the sidelines of the G20 summit. PM Modi tweeted, “Met Chilean President Gabriel Boric Font in Rio de Janeiro. India’s relations with Chile are strengthening in various sectors. Our talks focused on how pharmaceuticals, technology, space and other How to deepen relations across regions. It is heartening to see that Ayurveda is gaining popularity in Chile. This is also an area where relations can gain momentum.”

Meeting of Argentine President and PM Modi

Bilateral talks were held between PM Modi and Argentine President Javier Meili after talks with Chilean President Gabriel Boric. Regarding the meeting, PM Modi said, “I had a wonderful meeting with Argentina’s President Javier Miley. India cherishes close friendship with Argentina. Our strategic partnership has completed 5 years, which has brought great vibrancy to bilateral relations. We talked about enhancing ties in energy, defense production, trade and culture.
