Deputy CM Shivkumar made a controversial statement about the traffic of Bengaluru at the inaugural program of a workshop on 20 February.
The BJP has criticized Karnataka’s Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivkumar’s statement on Bengaluru traffic. BJP leader R Ashok said on Friday that if Shivkumar cannot improve the traffic system, he should resign from the post.
He has demanded that the deputy CM should take responsibility for the city’s disorganized traffic and resolve it. If they cannot do this, then the competent person should give this responsibility.
In fact, Minister in -charge of Bengaluru Development Shivkumar said in a workshop inaugural program on 20 February that God also cannot improve the traffic of Bengaluru in the next 2 or 3 years.
Home Minister defends Shivkumar However, Home Minister Ji Parmeshwar has defended Shivkumar’s statement on Friday. He said that deputy CMs were trying to suggest that there is no solution to improve the traffic of Bengaluru soon. It will take longer to find its remedy and work on it.
God said- Everyone knows that the infrastructure of Bengaluru is different. The situation today is not right for that. The city has 1.40 crore people and there are so many vehicles. But we do not have the right infrastructure for this.
BJP’s charge- Shivkumar brand is making money in the name of Bangalore Ashok wrote on X- Deputy CM brand used to talk about making Bangalore but his statement is full of disappointment. Shivkumar is making only money in the name of Bengaluru. People have no hope from you and the Congress government.
Vijayendra said- now we will not fill the pit, now we will build tunnel road BJP state president BY Vijayendra said that Shivkumar and Congress, who came to power by promising to make Bengaluru like Singapore and develop the state, are now making such statements. He alleged that the government is not able to fill the pits of Bangalore and is now talking about building a tunnel road.
He said that no work is being done in Bengaluru. MLAs are not getting money but they talk about development. It is a tragedy for Bengaluru.
