The total brand value of the world’s most popular T-20 cricket league IPL has increased by 13% to 12 billion dollars i.e. Rs 1.01 lakh crore. This information has been given in the latest report of brand valuation company Brand Finance.
For the first time in 2023, the total brand value of IPL crossed 10 billion dollars. Last year it was 10.7 billion dollars. Whereas in 2009, the valuation was 2 billion dollars i.e. Rs 16,943 crore.
Brand value of four teams crosses 100 million dollars for the first time
The brand finance report also states that the brand value of four IPL teams – Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Mumbai Indians (MI), Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) has also crossed $100 million for the first time. It has exceeded.

Sunrisers Hyderabad has the highest growth in brand value among all the teams. The valuation of the team has increased by 76% to Rs 719 crore. This reflects the league’s growing international influence and financial achievement.
Brand value of Gujarat Titans increased the least by 5%

Combined brand value of top-5 IPL teams is Rs 4,667 crore.
The combined brand value of the top-5 IPL teams is 551 million dollars i.e. Rs 4,667 crore, which is much less than the football league. The combined brand value of the top-5 teams of Bundesliga is $2.9 billion i.e. Rs 24,566 crore. The brand value of the top-5 teams of EPL is $6.7 billion (Rs 56,756 crore).

The IPL ecosystem today is worth $1.3 billion (about Rs 11,016 crore) and is closely monitored across the world. CSK, MI, RCB, KKR and RR franchise teams are global brands today and have active participation in many T-20 leagues across the world.
