The accused, who hails from Amar Colony in Delhi, demanded a protocol from the Uttar Pradesh Police, calling himself the High Commissioner of Oman.

66 -year -old accused Krishna Shekhar Rana has been arrested from UP Gate in Ghaziabad. A black colored Mercedes car, an identity card and 46 visiting cards have been recovered from him. Trans Hindon Deputy Commissioner (DCP) Nimish Patil said that allegations have been made against Krishna Shekhar under the relevant sections of the Indian Justice Code (BNS).
DCP Patil further stated that the accused who claimed to be the High Commissioner of Oman has been arrested. He has been sent to jail after appearing in court. During interrogation, it was found that he worked for an institution called India-GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council). He was a trade commissioner, but was misusing his position by calling himself a high commissioner.
India-GCC is related to Oman. According to the institution officials, the accused wanted to establish a university in Oman. After this, Oman gave him an honorary title of the Trade Commissioner. Vali Kashvi of India-GCC said, “We wanted to work with him due to his academic background. He was invited several times to come to Oman, but he never went. “
DCP Patil said that Krishna Shekhar has been a professor of Zoology (Zoology) in Agra. More than 100 of his research papers have been published in the journal of the country and abroad. More than 50 students have completed their research under the direction of the accused. Accused has Krishna College of Science and Technology in Agra. He also owns a resort in Rajasthan.

A senior professor at Ambedkar University in Agra said on the condition of anonymity, “Dr. Krishna Shekhar Rana is a prestigious scholar and we never heard of any misconduct.
