The Finance Minister said that our government has added about 1.1 lakh graduate and post graduate medical seats in 10 years. Next year, 10,000 additional seats will be added to medical colleges and hospitals, the next target is to add 75000 seats in the next 5 years. Investment in skills and high level education is necessary for ‘Make for India, Make for the World’ manufacturing, 5 National Center of Excellence for Skilling will be established with global expertise and partnership to equip the youth with skills. Apart from this, additional infrastructure will be constructed to provide education facility to 6500 additional students in 5 IITs started from 2014.

The Center of Excellence in Artificial Intelligence for Education will be established with an expenditure of Rs 500 crore. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has made a big announcement regarding investment in public education and health sector. He said, “50,000 Atal Tinkering Lab will be set up in government schools in the next five years to promote scientific thinking in curiosity, innovation and young brain. In addition, all secondary schools and primary health of rural areas under India under Bharatnet Project Broadband connectivity will be provided in the centers. The Indian Language Book Project will be implemented with the objective of providing digital books of Indian languages ​​in higher education. 200 centers will be set up in 2025-26.
