Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani on Thursday said the company makes promises that are not just about building infrastructure but also creating hope, progress and a brighter future for millions of Indians. An out-of-the-box advertisement on wind turbines and renewable energy is becoming increasingly viral on the internet. Regarding this ad, Gautam Adani posted on the X social media platform that “The winds of change are here.”

Adani Group Chairman said, “Our work embodies our promises. Promises that are not just about infrastructure but about hope, progress and a brighter tomorrow. The winds of change are blowing here. We deliver! “

‘First the fan will come, then the electricity will come’

This 1.30 minute video, with the tagline ‘Pehle Pankha Aayegi, Phir Bijli Aayegi’, surprises the audience and also shows how clean energy can brighten lives without polluting the environment. This short but effective video Tells the story of Tamtu, a young village boy who spends his nights in the dark with his father, waiting for electricity to knock at his door.

Building a better future In 2016, the company completed the 648 MW Kamuthi Solar Plant in Tamil Nadu, which was the world’s largest single-site solar power project at the time. Today, the Group is building another renewable energy ( RE) plant. It is more than 5 times the size of Paris and when completed, it will generate 30 gigawatts of clean energy, making it the world’s largest man-made plant. Will become an energy source. This plant will be bigger than not only thermal and nuclear but also hydropower.

Adani Green Energy’s operating capacity grew by an impressive 34 per cent to 11,184 MW in H1FY25, including greenfield additions. This includes 2,000 MW solar capacity and 250 MW wind capacity in Khavra, 418 MW solar capacity in Rajasthan and 200 MW wind capacity in Gujarat.

Adani Green is well on course to achieve its renewable energy capacity target of 50 GW by 2030, which includes at least 5 GW of energy storage.
