Nayeduniya Representative, Bhopal: A passenger bus going from Indore to Banaras collided with a divider on Narmadapuram Road in Bhopal. 11 people were injured in the accident, who were rushed to four hospitals for treatment. After first aid, all the injured are safe, thankful that there were no casualties in the accident.
It is being told that the accident happened due to a car driver. After overtaking the bus from the left, he was going in the right lane after overtaking, suddenly the bus driver turned the bus to the right, causing the bus to collide with the divider and overturned.
During this time, the car was also damaged due to the bus. Although the speed of the bus was also very fast at the time of the accident, passengers say that the bus was running late, due to which the driver was running at a high speed. Misrod police station has registered a case against the bus driver.
Passengers trapped in bus broke the glass and pulled out
ASI Premchand Dwivedi said that the sleeper bus of Ramashiv Travels left Indore on Saturday night. She was going to Banaras via Narmadapuram Road, at around one o’clock in the night, the bus collided with the divider near the capital goods and overturned to the left.
On receiving information about the accident, the police reached the spot within 10 minutes. Both the doors of the bus were closed due to overturning to the left. 40 passengers trapped in the bus were taken out by breaking glass on the front and right side.
During this period, 11 passengers, including seven women, were hurt, who were admitted to AIIMS, Hamidia, JP and a private hospital through ambulance. The doctors have stated the condition of the injured outside the danger. By Sunday evening, most of the injured have also been discharged from the hospital.
Some Mahakumbh was going to take the exam
Premchand told that riders from Indore and Bhopal were sitting in the bus. Many people were also preparing to go to Mahakumbh via Banaras.
Apart from this, a review, who was injured in the accident, said that she has an examination on 14 February, for this she was already going to Jaunpur. At the same time, Pinki Tiwari of Indore told that she was going to attend her brother’s engagement in Banaras.
