South superstar Allu Arjun is stuck in a big problem. On one hand, his recently released film ‘Pushpa-2 The Rule’ is creating havoc all over the world, while on the other hand, Allu Arjun has been arrested by Hyderabad Police. Allu Arjun’s fans are shocked by his arrest. The South superstar has been arrested for questioning in connection with the death of a woman in the stampede that broke out at Sandhya Theater in Hyderabad on December 4. He was brought to Chikkadpally police in Hyderabad, where he is being interrogated. This news has surprised even the fans of Allu Arjun.
Case registered under these sections
A case has been registered against Allu Arjun under Section 118 (1) of the Indian Judicial Code (BNS), under which the punishment can range from one year to ten years. Apart from this, a case has been registered against Allu Arjun under four other sections. A case has been registered against the actor under sections 3(1) under section 3/5. A video has been shared by news agency ANI in which Allu Arjun is brought to Chikkadpally police station in Hyderabad for questioning in connection with the case.
What is the matter?
Actually, before the release of Pushpa 2 on December 4, a screening of Pushpa 2 was held at Sandhya Theater in Hyderabad, in which Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna also attended. It is alleged that Allu Arjun had attended the premiere without informing. Hearing the news of the superstar’s arrival, a crowd of his fans gathered in the theatre. The actor’s fans reached here in such large numbers that the crowd went out of control and a stampede broke out in the theatre. While one woman died, two others were injured in this stampede.
Woman died in chaos in theater
After the incident, a complaint was also lodged by the family of the deceased against the theater management and the actor. The woman who died in the chaos was identified as Revati, a resident of Dilsukhnagar. She had come to watch the premiere show of Pushpa 2 with her husband Bhaskar and their children Tej (9) and Sanvika (7).
Allu Arjun had promised to give 25 lakhs
Two days after the incident, Allu Arjun released a video statement to express his condolences and promised Rs 25 lakh to the victim’s family. He also offered to cover all medical expenses of the injured members. In the video, he said, “When we attended the premiere of Pushpa 2 at RTC intersection, we never thought that the next day we would hear such heartbreaking news. It is very sad to know that a family was injured and a woman named Revathi lost her life due to her injuries. Watching movies is a memorable experience for all of us, but this incident has devastated us all.
