CGPSC SSE Prelims Result Out: Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC) has released the result of prelims of State Service Examination 2024. Candidates who have appeared in the examination can check their results on the official website of the Commission psc.c.c.g.gov.in. A total of 3737 candidates have been successful in this examination, who have been shortlisted for the main examination. According to the Commission, on the basis of prelims examination, 15 times the total posts i.e. 3690 candidates were to be selected for the main examination, but a total of 3737 candidates have been selected keeping in mind the availability of category wise candidates. When was the exam done?
Chhattisgarh PCS Prelims Exam was conducted in two shifts on 9 February 2025 – first shift from 10 am to 12 noon and second shift from 3 to 5 pm. Under this recruitment campaign, a total of 246 posts will be made in various government departments of Chhattisgarh, including posts like Deputy Collector, DSP and Excise Sub-Inspector.

More than 1.5 lakh candidates applied
According to Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC), more than 1.58 lakh candidates had applied for the prelims examination, but only 3737 candidates have been successful. Now these selected candidates will have to appear in the main examination, which will be held on 26, 27, 28 and 29 June 2025. The Commission will release information about when the application process for the main examination will start. Candidates who are successful in the main examination will be called for the interview process. Finally, the final selection of candidates will be made based on the performance of the main examination and interview.
