The work of building a wire-supported bridge on the lines of Mumbai’s Bandra-Worli Sea Link on the Chambal river connecting Bhind in Madhya Pradesh to Etawah in Uttar Pradesh will begin in the last week of January. This bridge will be ready in 24 months.
Due to the construction of the bridge, the traffic between Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh will become easier and it will boost trade in the districts connected because the traffic here is stopped due to the old bridge getting damaged repeatedly. Atal Progress-Way, approved by Madhya Pradesh, will be directly connected to Bundelkhand Expressway through this bridge.
The bridge was built here in 1975
