Apart from this, wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh Pant is also a part of the team. But Sanju Samson has not got a chance in the Champions Trophy team. In such a situation, former Team India veteran Sunil Gavaskar has given a statement regarding this decision during a conversation on Star Sports and has told what is the difference between Pant and Sanju due to which this decision might have been taken. Gavaskar said. “Pant can change the game maybe a little more than Samson and that’s why Samson didn’t get the chance, but Samson shouldn’t be disappointed because all Indian cricket fans will sympathize with him for what he has achieved.”
