There was light rain in Delhi NCR late on Wednesday night. Due to this, there was dense fog on Thursday morning. Many flights were delayed at Indira Gandhi International Airport due to fog. The Meteorological Department said that cold may increase in Delhi in the coming days.

Dense fog was observed in Prayagraj, Varanasi, Ayodhya of Uttar Pradesh as well as in West Bengal and Odisha. There is a possibility of rain in Punjab, Haryana, Western Uttar Pradesh, Delhi NCR and North Rajasthan.

Snowfall occurred in the hilly states of Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh for the fourth consecutive day. It is also raining in many districts of Himachal Pradesh. Temperature also increased in some districts. The temperature of Una was 25.6°C on Wednesday.

Yellow alert of fog and cold wave has been issued in 5 districts of Himachal on Thursday. Such weather will continue in the state till 28th.

Gurez-Bandipora Road, Semthan-Kishtwar, Mughal Road were closed due to snowfall in high altitude areas like Gulmarg, Sonmarg, Zojila Pass of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday. Snow removal work is going on here.

There is a possibility of dense fog in 40 districts of UP. It may also rain.
