In Kapurthala, Punjab, a 22 -year -old woman has filed a complaint accusing Pastor Bajinder Singh of sexually assaulting her in her teens. Jalandhar police of Punjab have registered a case of sexual harassment, criminal intimidation and chase against Christian campaigner Bajinder. Jalandhar police gave this information on Sunday (March 2).
The victim says that she joined the troupe of Pastor Bajinder Singh in December 2017. After this, he became a part of the ‘Varship Team’ in 2020. The victim alleges that during this time Bajinder took her phone number and started sending her pornographic messages. At that time he was 17 years old. The victim alleges that in 2022, Bajinder misbehaved with her.
The FIR states, “In 2022, he (Bajinder Singh) started sitting in his cabin on Sunday. When I was alone, he forcibly hugged me and touched me in a dirty way. When I went to college, he started following me with his car. He used to threaten that if I did not marry him or told anyone about it, he would get my parents and brother killed. ”
Police have registered a case against Pastor Bajinder Singh under Section 354A (sexual harassment), 354D (chase) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). Bajinder was arrested in July 2018 for raping a woman in Zirakpur, Punjab. Even before that he was jailed in a murder case.
It is said that Bajinder Singh is always in a suit-boot and is surrounded in 24 hours security. Pastor Bajinder Singh used to keep an eye on beautiful girls during his speeches. Later, they used to include those girls in their special team. Earlier, the girl she raped, she also used to go to Bajindra meetings. At the same time, Bajinder saw and trapped him.

Bajinder Singh is originally from Yamunanagar, Haryana. He was born in a Hindu Jat family. He was jailed about 15 years ago in a murder case. He then converted to Christianity and started working as a pastor in the church. Bajinder calls thousands of people in his meetings in the name of ‘miraculous remedies’. He came into the limelight due to his video called ‘Yashu Yashu’.
After working as a pastor in a church in Jalandhar, Bajinder made his own church and Christian missionaries in 2016 named ‘Church of Glory and Wisdom’. At that time, Father Peter, a spokesman of the organization associated with Jalandhar Church, said, “Bajinder and his church have nothing to do with our organization. He is also not recognized by any church. “
By making his own church, Pastor Bajinder Singh started taking various claims and started taking people in his bluff. He adopted a variety of tactics in establishing himself as a Chamyadik Healer all over Punjab. He claims that he has cured sufferings from many dangerous diseases including HIV-AIDS, cancer, curvness, blindness. He would show miracles on the stage and put it on his social media.
Bajinder, popularly known as Heelle Baba, has 37.40 lakh subscribers on YouTube. On his Instagram handle, he is described as ‘Prophet Bajinder Singh’. Bajinder Singh has been supported by many celebrities. Due to this, the popularity of Pastor Bajinder Singh continued to grow. After showing the alleged miracle on the stage, he would sing a song called ‘Mere Yashu… Mere Yashu’ for Jesus Christ, the god of Christians.
He has been predicting many big film stars and political personalities including Salman Khan. Recently, he claimed that he had already predicted Kavita Pran Lahre, MLA from Biligadh Assembly in Chhattisgarh, to become an MLA. A video of the poem was also revealed, in which she was touching her leg calling Bajinder as ‘Pappa ji’.
Pastor Bajinder Singh’s network is spread over many states of the country including Bharatpur in Rajasthan. Small institutions associated with this are engaged in the task of misleading people and converting them to Christians. Bajinder Singh is said to have funding people from many countries including Italy to convert to Christians. He distributes this money in his small network.
Follower raped in Chandigarh
In the year 2018, a woman had registered a case of rape on Bajinder Singh. During this time, the victim alleged that Bajinder raped her in her house in Sector 63, Chandigarh. During this, Bajinder also recorded a video of sexual harassment. The girl had alleged that Bajinder had lured her in the name of sending her abroad and called her to her house.
The victim had said, “She (Bajinder) had threatened to make the video of her rape viral in response to the complaint.” At that time Bajinder was a pastor in a church in Jalandhar and the victim girl Bajinder was follower. After this, Zirakpur police of Punjab arrested Bajinder from Delhi Airport on 21 July 2018.
Bajinder Singh was trying to flee to London, the capital of England. A case was registered under Section 376, 420, 354, 294, 323, 506, 147, 149 of the IPC and Section 67 of the IT Act. In this case he is currently on Bell. After coming on the bell, he is moving openly and is still claiming to cure various diseases.
NCPCR action on minor baby videos
A video surfaced in August 2021. In this, a boy was seen crying. Then a man (Pastor Bajinder) asks him if his sister could speak first. The boy answers in ‘no’. Then she is asked if she can speak now and this time she answers in ‘yes’. Then the song plays in the background, “Mera Yashu Yashu.”
Now the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) took cognizance on this video. The NCPCR said that it had found a Twitter link to a video, in which Pastor Bajinder Singh can be seen doing bizarre superstition with a minor boy. In the video, the child can be seen crying.
In this, the body language of both the child and the pastor looks quite unusual. The Commission then took cognizance under Section 13 (1) (J) of the CPCR Act 2005 and requested the deputy commissioner of Chandigarh to investigate the matter and submit the report of action within 7 days. At that time, Bajinder Singh was about 39 years old.
Income tax raid on Bajinder’s hideout
In January 2023, the Income Tax Department had raided Bajinder Singh’s church on charges of fraud. Devotees of this church had alleged that Bajinder had taken money from him and promised a miracle, which was never fulfilled. After receiving the complaint, the Income Tax Department raided Bajinder’s ‘Church of Glory and Wisdom’ in Jalandhar and scrutinized all the documents regarding the transaction of money.
The department also searched Bajinder’s bank accounts along with his movable and immovable properties. During the search, more than 50 paramilitary personnel were accompanied by the Income Tax Department. However, the raid of the Income Tax Department was also protested by the female devotees of Bajinder’s Church. Women devotees claimed that the popular pastor was being maligned by making false allegations against Bajinder.
