Addressing an election rally in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that he has reached Delhi from Prayagraj. He told that Mahakumbh is being organized on the soil of Uttar Pradesh, in which about 10 crore people have taken bath from January 13 to January 23. The Chief Minister also claimed that Prayagraj now has good roads and electricity has been arranged.
Yesterday, along with all my 55 ministers, we took a dip together in the Sangam of Prayagraj and became partners in virtue. We all are fortunate that we got the opportunity to serve the devotees coming from India and abroad in Mahakumbh. If as a Chief Minister I and my ministers can take a bath in the Sangam in Prayagraj, then I ask Arvind Kejriwal in Delhi if he can take a bath with his ministers in the Yamuna river? If they have moral courage, they should respond.
CM Yogi said that except the NDMC area, what is the condition of roads, sewer and drinking water in the rest of Delhi? Till a decade ago, people used to come to Delhi to get facilities and to see. Today it is not known whether there is a pothole on the road or a road in the pothole.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said, “Aam Aadmi Party has turned Yamuna Maiya into a dirty drain. Now Arvind Kejriwal and his party will not get forgiveness in the people’s court of Delhi. The condition of Delhi’s roads is so bad that there are potholes here.” Or the road in the pit, it has become difficult to understand, besides, there is a lot of filth in Delhi.
‘People of Delhi are not getting basic facilities’
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath targeted Arvind Kejriwal and said that he did not cooperate in the cleaning work of Yamuna. The Chief Minister alleged that the people of Delhi are not getting basic facilities and the Aam Aadmi Party is only engaged in false propaganda on social media. Yogi said, “Aam Aadmi Party wastes its time in telling lies. If these people had thought about the development of Delhi, Delhi would have been transformed by today.”
‘There is a world of difference between the roads of Noida and Delhi’
Chief Minister Yogi further said that Arvind Kejriwal is repeatedly discussing Uttar Pradesh in his speeches, but he should understand that people are now looking at Uttar Pradesh as a model. Giving an example, he said that no new industry has been set up in Okhla, whereas there is a world of difference between the roads of Noida and Delhi. Besides, he also said that the educational institutions of UP are better than Delhi, whereas the school buildings in Delhi are dilapidated.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the devotees and saints of Mathura and Vrindavan are having to pay the price for the sins of the Aam Aadmi Party government in Delhi, where Mother Ganga turns into a dirty drain. Whenever it came to cleanliness of Mother Yamuna under Namami Gange project, Arvind Kejriwal and company did not cooperate. They do not want to work, their only work is to tweet on social media early in the morning and make misleading statements through the press. If they had thought about the people of Delhi during the time they wasted in becoming an ATM of lies, Delhi would have been transformed in 10 years.”
