According to sources, the Railways has planned to create a holding area at 60 big stations in the country to avoid incidents like stampede in future peak season. After Mahakumbh, in 2027, there will be a semi -Kumbh in Nashik and Haridwar. Apart from this, Simhastha fair is also to be organized in Ujjain in 2028 Madhya Pradesh.
On February 15 at 9:26 pm, 18 people, including 11 women and 5 children, died at New Delhi station at 9:26 pm. 25 people were injured. Apart from this, 30 people died in a stampede that took place late on the day of Mauni Amavasya in Mahakumbh on the day of Mauni Amavasya.

Police said- If you want to save life, then return: Eyewitnesses said that the station was so crowded that there was no place to set foot. People were stuck in the train. Selected policemen were seen. The police were speaking to the people that if they want to save their lives, then return. You people have not gone money. Your life is left.
Confirmed tickets could not enter the box: Pramod Chaurasia, who was going to Prayagraj, told that I had a sleeper ticket of Purushottam Express, but there was so much crowd that even the confirmed tickets were not able to enter the compartment. There was so much shock that we could get out of the crowd somehow.
Crowds increased due to cancellation and late trains: Eyewitness Dharmendra Singh told that I was also going to Prayagraj. Two trains were already running late, some were canceled. So there was a wild crowd at the station. I saw such a crowd at this station for the first time in life. I myself saw six-seven women taking them to stretchers.
