Farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal has been sitting on a fast unto death for 45 days on the Khanauri border of Haryana-Punjab.

The condition of farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal, who is fasting unto death on the Khanauri border of Haryana-Punjab, is critical. Today is the 45th day of his fast. Dallewal’s blood pressure (BP) is continuously falling. In such a situation, he will not meet anyone now.

Releasing Dallewal’s medical bulletin on Wednesday, doctors said that if his legs are made equal to other parts of the body, his blood pressure reduces significantly. To stabilize the blood pressure a bit, his legs have to be kept at a height. He is also having difficulty in speaking. He remained in his trolley the whole day on Wednesday.

On January 8, the team of doctors took the blood sample of farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal.

SP MP came to meet Dallewal Samajwadi Party has supported the movement. Party’s Muzaffarnagar MP and National General Secretary Harendra Malik met Dallewal on Wednesday. During this, he got the farmers to talk to party supremo Akhilesh Yadav on phone. Akhilesh has assured them that he will talk to all the political parties and will try to make all the political parties forget their mutual differences and unite on the issue of MSP Guarantee Act. So that farmer suicides can be stopped.

Farmer leader said- Why doesn’t Agriculture Minister talk to Dallewal? Farmer leader Abhimanyu Kohar said that our country’s Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan holds a meeting with the farmers of Delhi and says that they are sad that they are not getting the benefits of our schemes, but on the other hand, they are aware of the farmers sitting on the streets from 13 February 2024. And the struggle of Dallewal who is fasting unto death is not visible.

He said that according to the Agricultural Census 2016, there were 21,000 farmers in Delhi, whose number has decreased in the last 8 years. In view of the deteriorating condition of Dallewal, the Central Government should get serious and solve the problems of the farmers.

What is the future strategy of the farmers?

1. Will burn PM’s effigy Farmers have planned to protest across the country on January 10. During this time the effigy of the Prime Minister will be burnt. Whereas on January 13, the day of Lohri, copies of the draft Agriculture Marketing Policy of the Central Government will be burnt.

2. Will take out tractor march on 26th January Preparations have been made to take out a tractor march on 26th January. Farmer leaders have called upon people to join the movement in large numbers.

Supreme Court has said – efforts are being made to worsen the situation There have been 8 hearings regarding Dallewal in the Supreme Court. The first hearing was held on 13 December. In this, the court has reprimanded the Punjab government and said that your attitude is not to bring about reconciliation. Some so-called farmer leaders are making irresponsible statements. Deliberate efforts are being made to worsen the situation. The court had also given time to the Punjab government to shift Dallewal to the hospital. Now the next hearing in this case will be on January 10.
