Voting will be held in Delhi on February 5, while counting of votes will take place on February 8.
Former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced on Saturday morning that after winning the elections, we will provide free electricity and water to the tenants also. Schemes of free electricity and water to Delhiites are already implemented in Delhi. Now AAP will also include tenants in this scheme.
On the other hand, AAP was going to release a documentary of AAP leaders at 11:30 am on Saturday, but Delhi Police banned the screening of this documentary. This documentary has been named Unbreakable. In this the story of AAP leaders going to jail is told.
Regarding stopping the screening, Kejriwal said on X- BJP is badly scared of this film. Why after all? Why does BJP want to stop this? The film exposes the secrets behind the scenes in which a conspiracy was hatched to wrongly arrest AAP leaders. This exposes the illegal and unconstitutional actions of the BJP government.
The Congress, which has been in power in Delhi for 15 consecutive years, has suffered a setback in the last two assembly elections and has failed to win even a single seat. In contrast, AAP dominated the 2020 assembly elections by winning 62 out of 70 seats, while the BJP got only eight seats.

AAP spokesperson said- Home Ministry had to be told that Kejriwal is in danger from BJP.
Regarding the attack on Kejriwal, AAP’s national spokesperson Priyanka Kakkar said – Home Ministry had said that Arvind Kejriwal is in danger. It should also have been said that this threat is from BJP people only. Now Pravesh Verma is completely dejected.

BJP said – Kejriwal’s nomination should be canceled, he submitted a false affidavit
Sanket Gupta, representative of BJP candidate from New Delhi Assembly seat, Parvesh Verma, has objected to the nomination of AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal. He has demanded the Election Commission to reject his nomination papers. In a letter to the Returning Officer, Sanket Gupta alleged that Kejriwal has deliberately given wrong information in his affidavit to mislead the voters.

1521 nominations of 981 candidates were received for the assembly elections.
According to the Election Commission of India, 1521 nominations have been filed for the voting to be held on 70 seats in Delhi on 5 February. According to the Chief Electoral Officer of Delhi, 981 candidates are in the fray in the elections. 680 nominations were filed on January 17, the last day of nominations. Their investigation will take place on Saturday. The last date for withdrawal of names is January 20.
The highest number of nominations have come from New Delhi Assembly seat. 29 candidates have filed 40 nominations for this seat. On this seat, former Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal is contesting against the sons of two former Chief Ministers of Delhi, i.e. BJP’s Pravesh Verma (son of Sahib Singh Verma) and Congress’s Sandeep Dikshit (son of Sheila Dikshit).
On the contrary, Kasturba Nagar assembly seat has received the least nominations. Here 6 candidates have filed 9 nominations. Aam Aadmi Party has fielded Ramesh Pehalwan, BJP has fielded Neeraj Basoya and Congress has fielded Abhishek Dutt from this seat.
A total of 18 candidates have filed 28 nominations from Kalkaji seat. From here, current CM Atishi is contesting against BJP’s Ramesh Bidhuri and Congress’s Alka Lamba.

AAP’s allegation – On the orders of BJP, Delhi Police banned the screening of ‘Unbreakable’
AAP said on Saturday morning that Delhi Police banned the screening of the documentary on the orders of BJP. Theater owners across Delhi have been threatened for not showing the documentary.
On the other hand, Delhi Police said that AAP had not taken permission for the screening of Unbreakable documentary. This is a violation of the guidelines.
