BJP can release the list of its remaining 41 candidates today for the Delhi Assembly elections. Regarding this, a meeting of BJP Core Committee and Central Election Committee (CEC) was held at the BJP headquarters at the house of party national president JP Nadda on Friday. In this there was discussion about the candidates for Delhi elections.

PM Modi and Amit Shah also attended the CEC meeting. According to sources, the PM said in the meeting that the trust of the people of Delhi in BJP has increased. But we will have to work harder to win. He said that the reality of Aam Aadmi Party will have to be brought before the people. Kejriwal’s lies will have to be exposed.

PM Modi, who had reached the CEC meeting, suddenly went to meet the journalists standing outside. While congratulating the journalists for the New Year, he had said – It is very cold, all of you take care of yourselves. Keep your head covered.

BJP may field another candidate in place of Ramesh Bidhuri According to sources, former MP Meenakshi Lekhi can also be made a candidate. The party can also change its candidate from Kalkaji. The party had given ticket to Ramesh Bidhuri against Chief Minister Atishi from here, but due to his controversial statements the party may change the candidate.

29 candidates announced in the first list on January 4

BJP declared 29 candidates, AAP 70 and Congress 48 candidates. BJP had released the first list of candidates on January 4. There were 29 names in the list. Of these, 7 leaders left AAP and Congress and joined BJP. The party had again given tickets to most of the candidates who had got tickets in the last assembly elections in the first list. The party repeated 13 candidates, while tickets of 16 were changed.
