The Uttar Pradesh government has opposed the petition of Allahabad High Court against Yati Narasimhanand, co-founder of Alt News Mohammad Zubair. The state government said that the UP police had taken action against Narasimhanand and the courts have given them bail. Zubair has filed a petition against the UP Police’s FIR regarding his ‘X’ post on Narasimhanand’s alleged ‘derogatory’ statement.
Additional Advocate General (AAG) Manish Goyal, appearing on behalf of the Uttar Pradesh government, said that Zubair made a nectar through his X (East Twitter) post and tried to provoke the public. He also questioned Zubair’s ‘X’ post and said that the alleged fact checker Zubair has done ghee in the fire.

Aag Goyal said before a bench of Justice Siddharth Verma and Justice Yogendra Kumar Srivastava, “He (Zubair) says that there was no arrest and weak sections were imposed against Yeti Narasimhanand, but it is not… Not working is wrong… The police was doing its work and the court granted them (Yeti) bail. ”
Goyal further said that even though Mohammad Zubair claimed to have rely on a news of ‘Global India’, there is a lot of difference between his tweet and article. He said, “There are other things in the speech. It has also been talked about illegal immigrants and other issues, but the petitioner (Zubair) has shown the video by lifting 4-5 lines. ” He said that the intention of making a narrator has been deliberately intended.
Goyal said, “Zubair’s post has been reposted 29,000 times. Zubair reposts a post. By doing this, they are working to add ghee to the fire. He is wandering openly and is spreading hatred about Yeti Narasimhanand. ” He said that all this was posted in a thread and tagged to Kiren Rijiju. This is like taking the law in its own hands, making it a narrator and provoking people.
