The grand and divine Mahakumbh, which is going on in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, is now moving towards its conclusion. Today is the 42nd day of Mahakumbh, which started from 13 January. Mahakumbh will end with Mahashivaratri on 26 February. From the beginning of Mahakumbh, on an average, crores of devotees are reaching Prayagraj to take a dip of faith daily. A crowd of devotees in Mahakumbh has also broken all records. More devotees are reaching Triveni Sangam for bathing more than the administration had estimated. More than 60 crore devotees have taken a dip of faith in this yoga formed after 144 years. In such a situation, it is believed that on February 23-24, there may be more crowd in Mahakumbh. Not only this, a crowd can be seen in Mahakumbh even on Mahashivaratri.

25 km long jam in Prayagraj

A large number of devotees are reaching Prayagraj due to the last Sunday of Mahakumbh being the last Sunday as well as its closing. In such a situation, the situation of traffic also remains poor. People in the city are also reaching their trains to take a dip in the confluence and due to this, there has been a 25 km long jam in the entire area. Due to the jam, the elderly, women and children are facing the most troubles. Not only this, due to the jam in the city, the administration has decided not to conduct board exams of 10th and 12th to be held on February 24.

Mahashivaratri bath on 26 February

Mahashivaratri is a bath on 26 February on the last day in Mahakumbh. During this time a huge crowd of devotees is expected to gather. The district administration and the fair administration have already geared up. DM Ravindra Kumar Mandar told IANS that preparations have been made on a large scale. Instructions have been given to the authorities to ensure that pilgrims experience Mahakumbh’s experience. The Chief Secretary and DGP held a review meeting and reviewed the preparations themselves. DM says that if there is any problem in Mahakumbh, then instructions are being given to the officers to solve it immediately.

How is the condition of Ayodhya and Kashi?

Due to Mahakumbh, public publicity is also thronging in Ayodhya and Kashi. Devotees going to Sangam are also reaching Ayodhya and Kashi to visit. Because of this, there is a huge crowd in both the places. According to officials, 4-5 lakh devotees are coming to Ayodhya Ram temple daily to visit. About 1 thousand buses stand at the entry points of Ayodhya and more than 10 lakh devotees are present all the time. A crowd of devotees is also reaching for darshan in Kashi.
