Who is Dhananjay Munde
- Dhananjay Munde had the state’s Food and Civil Supplies Ministry in the Devendra Fadnavis government.
- Munde is a Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) MLA from Parli in Beed district.
- Earlier, he was the patron minister of Beed.
- Currently NCP chief Ajit Pawar is the patron minister of Beed district along with Pune.
- Ajit is considered very close to Ajit Pawar.
- Dhananjay is the son of Pandit Anna Munde, brother of former Deputy CM Gopinath Munde of Maharashtra.

Seven people have been arrested so far
Seven people including Valmik Karad have been arrested in the Santosh Deshmukh murder case so far, while one person has been declared as desired accused. Apart from Karad, other arrested accused include Sudarshan Ghule, Vishnu Chate, Jairam Chate, Mahesh Kedar, Siddharth Sonawane, Sudhir Sangle and Prateek Ghule. Krishna Andhale is a wanted accused in this case.

- 6 December 2024 : People reached this site of a company located in Masajog village led by Sudarshan Ghule. These people attacked the guards and employees present there.
