Seven people have been arrested so far

Seven people including Valmik Karad have been arrested in the Santosh Deshmukh murder case so far, while one person has been declared as desired accused. Apart from Karad, other arrested accused include Sudarshan Ghule, Vishnu Chate, Jairam Chate, Mahesh Kedar, Siddharth Sonawane, Sudhir Sangle and Prateek Ghule. Sarpanch massacre timeline

1. 6 December 2024 : People reached this site of a company located in Masajog village led by Sudarshan Ghule. These people attacked the guards and employees present there. When the sarpanch Deshmukh came to know about this, he also reached the spot with some villagers. After this, there was a clash between the two groups. A complaint was lodged with the police. After which Dhule was arrested. Who later came out on bail.
2. 7 December 2024: According to a report by the charge sheet, on 8-7 December, Karad had allegedly told another accused Sudarshan Ghule that those who come in the attempt to recover them should be abolished.
3. 9 December 2024: Dhule kidnapped him with his colleagues to take revenge from Sarpanch Deshmukh. Six people abducted him at Dongaon Toll Plaza and took him to Cage taluka in an SUV. The same evening, Deshmukh met Nandur Ghat Road in a unconscious state in Dithna Shivar. He was rushed to the hospital by the search team of Beed police, where he was declared dead on arrival.
4. 10 December 2024: After finding the body of Sarpanch Deshmukh, the people of Masajog village started protests and created a ruckus.
